On March 17, SIUE hosted the University of Oklahoma RaXPol mobile radar. Students were able to see the radar in action and learn about radar systems. A big thanks to Dr. Yadong Wang (SIUE Electrical and Computer Engineering) for coordinating the event and to Drs. Tian-You Yu and David Bodine of OU for a fantastic presentation to our students, especially those in my GEOG 452 (Weather Forecasting) and GEOG 314 (Climatology) courses.
